SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it's alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider point established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it read more tough with the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to allow the servicing of all buyers and SRD maximize access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
