Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and determination to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services throughout an engagement together with the agency's senior supervisors at a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric final exams.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% in the registered pupils in the training sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
